7 Pandora stations you should listen to if you want to increase your focus

Are you able to listen to music while you are working on an assignment, or studying for an exam? I know many of you probably can, but for some reason I can’t! Every time I press play on my iTunes list, or plug-in to my favorite station on Pandora, I always find that I am more into the music than my work. (This GIPH is exactly what I used to look like in the library, but much more animated and louder LOL)

And, I try so hard to balance the two actions (working and listening) in my mind, but most of the time I just turn off the music, so that I can be more productive.

So, I know you are thinking, “well why in the hell did you write this post then !”

Well, I think I’ve found a solution for all of my people out there who experience the same issue.

I’ve been experimenting with listening to Pandora stations that are all instrumental based. But, get this, I’ve found that I am much more focused when I listen to classical, smooth jazz, and praise stations.

Now, I know that you’re probably thinking that these stations seem like they would be corny, but it actually works.

Next time you’re studying or working on an assignment, try it out and see if it works for you. If not, maybe it’s just best for you to work in silence, and that is okay!

Here is my list of  “Grind Stations” to help me get my work done:

What are some of your favorite stations to listen to when you’re trying to focus?

Boost Your Focus Levels

Hey y’all

Here we are three weeks into the new year, and you’re still going strong! Wait—y’all are still focused right?

There is never a better time to harness the energy of the present than now. After grueling through twelve long months and four seasons, the new year is a welcomed time that many use to press the reset button, create new goals, and form new relationships.

Take advantage of this time!

Your fresh start is here and is waiting for you to make the best of it. When you see an opportunity, seize it, hold on tight, and keep it in your sight (this one’s really important).

Take advantage of your fresh start by following these simple reminders to keep your drive and focus alive:

  1. Remind yourself of the reasons behind your focus. Are you working to help support your family? Personal or career development? Think on these and smile when you feel like giving up.
  2. If what you’re doing isn’t working, try a different method.
  3. Plans are great to make, but they normally don’t turn out exactly the way you think. Don’t worry: be adaptable, keep working hard, and you’ll forge your own way.

Stay focused on your goals and when things aren’t going as smoothly as you would like, remember that there is a lesson to be learned in everything.

Focus is a powerful trait that can determine the direction your life goes in.

Reflect on these statements often enough, and your days will not only be productive but also fulfilling as you are working toward a goal that you want.
